There is such an abundance of information products in every conceivable category and the trend is highly likely to continue.
It is not just ebooks and videos but memberships and all kinds of training products as well.

Part of the abundance of products is due to the desire of marketers to differentiate themselves in the market. This is best done by making the information very specific and easy to implement. Finding a new angle to approach and solve a problem is another way to differentiate. With a crowded marketplace, the integrity of the seller is under scrutiny and the high quality of the product must be maintained for there to be lasting success.
As more sellers enter the growing market we find that not all products are created equal and that the get rich schemes have come along for the ride. Marketers who want to build a lasting business need to find a way of disassociating themselves from the shonky dealers. One of the best ways to assess a marketer and their product is through their business associates. A challenge when starting out but there are solutions.
There is no substitute to learning from experience and you will discover as you go forward that you are attracted to those circles which have solid reputations and detach from the others. When you seek support you have another opportunity to evaluate not only the “shop front” but how the back office functions as well. The decisions you make will be rational choices at certain times and intuitive at others. You need both and as you progress your skills in both areas will increase.
So it doesn’t matter if 99% of those who enter the market don’t stay. It says that it is a high volatility growth area and that lasting success calls for more motivation than quick cash.
Eventually you will have a broad skill set at you fingertips. You might start of with building websites, or Facebook marketing, or video or product development. They are all very useful and relieve some of the pressure in learning a new system, because that is what it really is - a system of marketing that allows you to develop a business where you are not being paid for the value of your time but the value you bring to your customers.
